This blog is dedicated to the production design and concept work of a yet-to-be-titled BYU student film. It will rock like 80's hair bands thought they did.

okay.... so i didnt do more to the lines in the water because it is going to be changed, but here is an example of the lines that i would like for this design. its up for any suggestions.
My suggestion would be to do what you can to simplify her, and make her look a little more cartoony. It’s a very pretty drawing but a little bit too much on the realistic side. The less lines the better. You should finish this one though because it’s great inspirational art.
I don't think it is way too detailed for animating. I don't think it would be easy to animate, but I do think it would be possible; and the wisping hair and waves and drapery would look awesome. I dig the line variation. It will be cool to see it finished. It could be a bit more simple, but the concept is great.
I like this a lot. Is the fishy part of her going to continue down the wave? It would be nice to see some more down there, because it stops a little abruptly.

The Story
The story has changed dramaticaly again. Once the boards are finalized and signed off, we'll put the revised story back up for everyone to see. All I really have to report is that it bears little to no resemblance of any of the other iterations of the story so far, none of which were very similar anyway.
