This blog is dedicated to the production design and concept work of a yet-to-be-titled BYU student film. It will rock like 80's hair bands thought they did.

For Stacy...
These are some designs Stacy emailed me. She also suggested that the scene where the boy brings the master dinner and gets BEAT ON is redundant, does nothing to move the plot OR establish character, and should be removed. I agree, but what do y'all think?
yeah!!! cut cut cut! Of course I do want to emphasise the masters cruelty and saadism, but anything that will save time and isn't completly neccesary we can do without intially and then put back in if we have time and if it would spice up the story
I agree. If we have already established that the master is cruel then it might just be beating a dead horse. It might be more effective to see the master with a disdainful look on his face whenever he sees the boy, as if he thinks the boy is filthy or worthless. Plus we need to think about time restraints.

The Story
The story has changed dramaticaly again. Once the boards are finalized and signed off, we'll put the revised story back up for everyone to see. All I really have to report is that it bears little to no resemblance of any of the other iterations of the story so far, none of which were very similar anyway.
